George, First, thank you so much for even taking the time to read this stuff. Sadly, the travails of the X Org (El Cambre, McJack et al) will be unknown. For I did not continue the short story at the time. Never say never. There could be a sequel some time. Not sure I can re-capture the imagination of a 13 year old, however. Hope all's well with you and family, old friend!
